Music: “The Shaman Awakes” written and performed by special guest artist: Elliot Tsai (USA) aka The Shaman.

This performance is a outdoor multi-media installation created by composer Jerry Snell and Video artists Thien Vu Dang and Yasuko Tadokoro. Projected onto surrounding buildings the video images filmed Taipei show the faces and movement of the “souls” of our cities lost a the rush of everyday life. Video artists, musicians and performance artists from Canada, Japan, Mainland China, Taiwan and USA created this event especially for the opening night of the Taipei Arts International Festival. (this event was Typhoon proof!)
